A driving license is the ultimate proof of your liberation from the kids’ table; it is the pathway to adulthood. To get your hands on that driving license, you have to pass a driving test.

Pre-Class Ritual
Do not stay up late or drink before the class. Get a good night sleep and have a good breakfast before the class. Dress comfortably and check-in with your instructor regarding the meeting point. And do not forget to take your provisional license before your leave the house.
Introductions
You won’t get behind the wheels from the get go. First, the instructor will familiarize you with the basics.
Cockpit Drill
After the basics, the instructor will hand over the wheel. Before starting, you will have to go through the cock-pit drill or the DSSM. Make a check-list in your mind and tick them off on your fingertips.

Take Control
This is the part where you learn how to start and stop a car. You need to get a smooth control over the accelerator, brakes, clutch, indicators and gear.
Ask as many question as you can and practice regularly. The ideal time to get a command on the controls as well as getting some road time would be a 2 HRS driving class.
Do not panic if you can’t get a hold of the control on the first go; the instructor will guide you through the process.
Ready? Drive!
It’s TIME! Before getting on the road, your instructor will explain how to put the car in gear, clutch control, mirrors and blind spot, use of brake and clutch together, and how to curb side park. So, buckle-up and go.
Put your mind at ease as the instructor has his own set of controls, so even if you make a mistake, he will cover for you.
Class Ends
After the class, the instructor will recap and ask for feedback. This is the time for you to decide if you want a different learning package. If a 2 hour class is not enough, increase your learning time and book a driving class at your convenience.
